Booking Conditions

By booking a treatment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

The Business

The services offered by Maria's Complementary and Massage Therapies (referred to as Maria's Therapies) are provided by Ms Maria Nikolic at 15 Newnham Street, Ely, Cambridgeshire, CB7 4PG. Ms Maria Nikolic conducts this business as a sole trader. Maria's Therapies and Ms Maria Nikolic will be treated as a single entity for liability purposes and English law shall apply.

Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your treatment, we require at least 24 hours' notice to allow us to offer the slot to an alternative client; in this case you will not be charged for your booking. In circumstances where we have not received at least 24 hours' notice, we reserve the right to charge the full price of the booked treatment using the details provided during the booking process. Should we need to cancel your appointment for reasons beyond our control, we will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative convenient appointment.

Clients who cancel their appointment for any reason on at least three consecutive occasions (including with at least 24 hours' notice) may be barred from making any further bookings to protect the financial integrity of the business. Such action will be carried out at the sole discretion of the management.

Medical Screening

All new clients will be required to complete a medical screening card to assess suitability for treatment; clients will complete this document truthfully and to the best of their knowledge. Maria's Therapies reserves the right to refuse treatment in cases where a client's medical profile makes them unsuitable for the type of treatment booked or such treatment is otherwise prohibited in accordance with the guidance published by the British Association of Beauty Therapy  and Cosmetology. Maria's Therapies will not be held liable for any damage or injury caused as a consequence of any wilful omission, inaccuracy, misrepresentation etc. contained within a client's medical screening card.

Payments

All payments are taken in person and must be completed in full by the conclusion of the client's treatment.  We accept all major credit and debit cards using both contactless and chip and pin processing, as well as cash payments. Receipts may be provided on request. Maria's Therapies reserves the right to require payment in full prior to the commencement of any treatment in certain circumstances.

Insurance and Qualifications

Current or prospective clients shall be entitled to examine Ms Maria Nikolic's qualifications and/or insurance certificates on request, which can be made using the details provided on the 'Contact" page above.
